For sale via e-Bay:
Vehicle Description
100% of all original paperwork included. The vehicle currently holds a clear Massachusetts title without any liens. 100% history of the car included: the first owner, the second owner, the third owner, myself being the fourth owner with telephone numbers, addresses, etc.
The first owner, who now lives in Texas, was an extremely large boy, at the time, and he kept the car for a very short period of time before trading it in because of his size. He supplied me with all the original paperwork and the Corvette badge which Chevrolet issued with the sale of every Corvette. He would not give me the Corvette pin, but I am sure for the right price it can be purchased from the original owner. The vehicle was then purchased by a gentleman for his oldest son, who was the second owner, unfortunately he passed away at an early age and the car sat in his younger brother's garage ever since. The younger brother, the third owner, acquired the car through the estate of his older brother, which I have a registration verifying. The father of the second owner is in his nineties and I would not wait long to contact him. The second owner had many friends who raced with him on an amateur basis in Colchester, CT. These people can be reached for additional history of the car, and some of them have sent photos while they were all at the track. (One picture of the car when it was brand new.) This car was the second car of a family that spent their lives racing. The first car being a '55 Ford, they have gone on to win many trophies and titles with funny cars and top-fuel dragsters. This car was merely a stepping stone in their racing career and it is important to note the car was not 'butchered', only receiving minor modifications. Photos of where is was stored while in their ownership are available.
I, being the fourth owner, was born and brought up with the second owner's younger brother, the third owner. The first time I saw this car I was 13 years old. I never lost track of it, always hoping to buy it.
Vehicle Condition
100% original. Including: paint, tires, exhaust system, wiper blades, interior, drive train, headlights, hoses, clamps, etc. Non-original parts because of amateur racing history include: shocks. Shocks replaced to raise car to accomodate 8" slicks, plus two leaf prings were installed on each side for the same reason, they have since been removed. All near perfect, runs and drives excellent. Never hit, never altered. For options list see original window sticker. While this car is not flawless, it is in excellent condition. It has not been used in 40 years.
This car has never been shown or seen by the public. Do not miss this buying opportunity to own the best car of this class available on the planet! Barrett-Jackson auction has expressed interest in placing this car in their January 2006 action, Saturday afternoon.
This car is for sale because it currently sits in a heated and air-conditioned living room and I am fearful of driving it on public roads. |
